Baba looked at the picture and was appalled that I hadn't spoken of HIS dog or rather dogette - Batty - who is also his steadfast companion. She follows him everywhere - sleeps on a chair in his room, is a member of the Charkha basement community and has her own chair in the living room. So please notice the little black dogette in the corner.
Yup! Noticed the dogette and registered her presence. Tx for the pictures Elu -- and since virtual hugs are being entered into the record -- a big hug from me to all within range.
ReplyDeleteI was in touch with Jacquie Singh, who got your initial mail-out but Blogger messages these days are identified as having come from just "Blogger" and quite a few people apparently delete them right away as spam. So Jacquie didn't look further and was glad (and also surprised/concerned) to hear what the message was about.
She didn't realize that [Elu] was the source of the message and didn't recognize the nicknames so ... I'm wunnering ... would it be kind of neat (and maybe a little fun too) to list a Shankar/Viji family Who's Who? Until I heard from Jacquie it hadn't occurred to me that there may be several other friends who would perhaps be in her situation. Just a thought.
Hi Manjula,
ReplyDeleteI keep forgetting that this can travel virally. Yes, a who's who can help re the family but I don't think I'll be able to get that done today. But shall store it as a good idea.
On the from (blogger) issue, I've changed my name to Ela(Elu) Ghose and edited my profile to show my real name. So maybe that will help. Let me know if it does.
Hugs and XX
E
It's amazing -- even though I KNEW it was you (yew? haha. Just enjoying the rhyme), seeing your name there makes a BIG DIFFERENCE. Can't think why it should matter so much, but there we go: apparently it does. Thx!
